Harold Bryant of Sulphur Springs, Texas was raised on a small farm in Cooke County where they had stockers, swine, horses, 3-5 milk cows, and three milking machines with two of his brothers and himself. Mr. Bryant went into the dairy business full time in 1981 in the Gafford Chapel community in Hopkins County. Recently he sold his milk cows but maintained the heifers, stocker cows, and haying operation. Mr. Bryant has a bachelor degree from Howard Payne University and an M.S. from ETSU. He has been an active member of Northeast Texas Farmers Co-op since 1977. He has nine years experience as a teacher and coach. In addition to currently serving as Board President of NETFC, he also served 15 years on the Sulphur Springs ISD Board of Trustees, including three terms as president. Mr. Bryant also serves in various leadership capacities for his church including chairman of the building committee to construct a new educational wing and parish council president. His volunteer service includes 4-H club manager, secretary/treasurer for his rural water corporation, and member of the Northeast Texas Livestock and Dairy Association
